Paasi Payaru 2 Cup
Raw Rice 1 Cup

Preparation method for Moong Dal / Green Gram dosa (Pesarat Dosai) Flour
1. Soak the Raw Rice for about 2 hours in water and soak the Moong Dal / Green Gram for about half an hour in water.
2. Then add both the rise and the Moong Dal / Green Gram in grinder and grind it coarsely.
3. Do not grind it finely because course grinding is the only way to make the Moong Dal / Green Gram Dosa crispier.
4. Salt can be added even when grinding or after the flour is removed from the grinder.
Once the flour is ready now prepare the ingredients for its toppings

Onion
Ginger
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Preparation method for Topping / garnishing Moong Dal / Green Gram Dosa (Pesarat Dosai)
1. Chop all the ingredients for fill on the top of the Moong Dal / Green Gram dosa finely. You can even chop or even grind it in mixy if it seems to be time consuming. Normally chopping finely gives a lovely look to the dish.
2. After chopping slightly fry the onion and the ginger either in the dosa tawa or a frying pan.
3. After frying ginger and the onion keep all the ingredients for the toppings ready aside and start preparing the Moong Dal / Green Gram Dosa.
Moong Dal / Green Gram Dosa (Pesarat Dosai) Recipe Cooking procedure
1. Take a dosa tawa and heat it well first. Once the tawa is hot wipe it with fresh cloth or tissue so that it will be easy for the dosa to spread evenly.
2. Now take a scoop of Moong Dal / Green Gram dosa flour and spread evenly on the hot dosa tawa.
3. After spreading the flour add the toppings (fried onion and ginger along with curry and coriander leaves) evenly above this and pour a spoon of oil around the dosa and also a little over it.
4. Once the Moong Dal / Green Gram dosa is fried on one side it can be turned to the other side and fried. This is optional, if you feel that the dosa is crispy enough you need not fry it on the other side. If you do so the toppings will remain spread as how you put.
5. The Moong Dal / Green Gram dosa is tasty enough that it can be enjoyed without even any side dish.
6. If you wish you can also serve it with any varieties of chutneys.
