Spicy Pannier fry

Ingredients that you will need for making the Spicy Pannier fry are listed here

Pannier - 200 gram

Curd - ½ Cup

Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 Teaspoons

Chili Powder – 2 Teaspoons

Garam Masala – ½ Spoon


Salt – As much as required

Chat masala – 1 Spoon

Kasuri Methi  - ¼ Cup

Bread Crums – ¼ Cup

Maida or Corn Flour – ¼ Cup

Oil – to fry


Preparation procedure for Spicy Pannier fry

It is good to put the pannier to soak for about 2 hours. Generally for adding pannier in any of the dishes like gravy, masala or fry, it has to blend with the taste of the dish. The Pannier does not give any taste or flavor by itself. It will just smell like the milk. But if the pannier is soaked and blended with the ingredients well, its flavor and taste will go awesome.

Add the ginger, garlic paste, curd, chili powder, garam masala powder, salt and chat masala in a bowl and mix it well.

Cut the pannier in any shape that you wish. You can either dice it or make like finger slices.

Now arrange the pannier pieces in a tray or bowl and spread these mixed ingredients around the pannier pieces. Now keep this in refrigerator for about 2 to 4 hours.

After the ingredients have blended in the pannier for about 2 to 4 hours, now take it out and add kasturi methi to it.

Then take the pieces of pannier and pat them in a bowl of bread crumbs and maida or corn flour mixed together.

Pour oil in a frying pan and wait for it to heat well.

After the oil heats well, put the pannier pieces in it and fry them. It is not necessary to fry them for a long time. Just let it to get red shade and that’s all.


Now Spicy Pannier fry is ready to serve.
