Ingredients for Fenugreek Leaf Pulav Recipe

Basmathi Rice (Jeeraga Samba Rice)..........................................1½ Cup
Fenugreek Leaves (Chopped).......................................................2 Bunches
Green Peas....................................................................................1 Cup
Tomatoes (Big Sized, Chopped)....................................................2 No
Garlic (Ground)............................................................................4 or 5 cloves 
Green Chilies  (Chopped) .............................................................2 or 3 No
Turmeric Powder.........................................................................¼ Tsp
Chili Powder................................................................................To Taste
Salt...............................................................................................To Taste
Oil/ Ghee......................................................................................1 Tbsp
Paneer (Cubed in small size and deep fried).................................. 50 gm




Preparation method for Fenugreek Leaf Pulav Recipe

  1. Clean the fenugreek leaves by separating them from the stem. Now wash the fenugreek leaves and let the water from it to stain fully.
  2. Now keep a pan on stove and pour oil to it. Once the oil is heated add the pasted garlic to it and let to fry till golden brown shade.
  3. Then add all the other ingredients (tomatoes, Methi, green chilies, salt, chili powder and turmeric powder. Stir-fry for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Add rice and fry well for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add enough water and pressure cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
  6. Now you have to garnish the Fenugreek Leaf Pulav with fried paneer.
  7. Now the Fenugreek Leaf Pulav is ready to be served hot with salad or raita.
