These are the Ingredients that you will require for preparing the Bread Masala Usli
Mustard Seeds – 1 Pinch
Split Bengal Gram – 1 Cup
Red Chili – 6 Pieces
Fennel Seeds – 1 Spoon
Coconut (Grated) – 1 Cup
Ginger, Garlic paste – 1 Spoon
Crispy Bread Rusk – 1 Cup
Vegetables
Onion
Green Bell Pepper
Beans
Carrot and any other vegetables of your wish
Salt – as much as required
Lemon juice
Garam Masala - for added flavor
Coriander leaves - for garnishing
Preparation procedure for cooking Bread Masals Usli
Soak a cup of Split Bengal gram in water for about half an hour.
After the Bengal gram has softened well, add them to the mixy jar with red chilies, fennel seeds, ginger, garlic paste and coconut. Now grind them into a semi fine paste.
Chop the onion and other vegetables finely.
You can either Dice and fry the fresh bread or buy the readymade Crispy Bread Rusk.
Now take oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to it. After the mustard seeds pop up, add the finely chopped onion and other vegetables to it. Now add required amount of salt to it and fry them well. Then keep it aside and take another pan and add some oil to it.
After the oil heats well, add the ingredients that we have grinded semi finely in the mixy. Let it to fry for some time.
It has to lose all the water contents from it. So keep stirring continuously till the ingredients turn from its paste stage to a powder stage.
Then add the fried vegetables, garam masala, bread crumbs and coriander to it.
Finally add a spoon of lemon juice to it and sauté it.
Now the bread masala usli is ready to be served as a snack.
