How to prepare a Chutney with Coconut and Banana Plant Stem

Ingredients required for Coconut and Banana Plant Stem Chutney

Coconut – 1 Full

Green Chilies - 4 Pieces

Banana Plant Stem – 5 Inch Piece

Ginger – 1 Inch Piece

Garlic – 4 Pieces


Salt – To Taste

Curry Leaves – Little

Asafetida – 3 Pinches


Recipe for preparing Chutney with Coconut and Banana Plant Stem


Cut the Banana Plant Stem into small dices by removing the excess fibrous thread like substances in it.

Now slice the coconut pieces into same sized pieces and put these two ingredients along with the green chilies, a small piece of ginger and little garlic. To this add the salt, asafetida and curry leaves too.

Then grind all these ingredients into fine paste and that’s all. Your chutney with Coconut and Banana Plant Stem is now ready.

You need not use stove for cooking it. It is instant and raw chutney that is very much good for health. This Coconut and Banana Plant Stem Chutney is highly fibrous. It will also last for longer time than the usual coconut chutney.
