First take a pan and add enough amount of water and semiya to it. Now add little salt and boil it until the semiya cooks. After the semiya cooks let it to cool for some time and drain the water from it. Cooking semiya in this style will make the dish non sticky.
After the garlic fries, add onion to it and fry until it turns to golden brown.
After frying the onions add finely chopped tomato to it. For the tomato to cook sooner add required amount of salt to it. Let the tomato to cook for a while. Need not add water to this because if you add water, your Semiya in Tamil Nadu Style with Continental touch will become a soggy dish.
Now you can add the carrot, Goosberry, Spring Onion and Basil Leaves. To this you can also add black pepper powder for spiciness. Then mix all these ingredients and put the cooked semiya also in this.
Finally saute once and transfer it to a serving bowl. Then garnish it and serve it hot with any variety of south Indian special chutnies.
