There is only less number of ingredients required for preparing this innovative white curry with Fish. Not only that, the cooking and preparation time needed for this innovative white curry recipe with fish is also very less.
Take a kadai or a pan and lit it to medium flame. Now add a spoon of ghee to it.
After the ghee melts, put the washed and cleaned fish pieces to it and fry it slightly.
The fish has to be fried to a stage such that its skin pops up and becomes soft. This is enough as we are frying it only for the flavor of the ghee to penetrate into the fish pieces.
Now you can take out the fish from the pan and add some oil together with the pan that is containing ghee already.
To this add onion and green chili that is long sliced. You have to fry the onion until it separates from each other layer and becomes glassy. Now you have to add the washed mint leaves. We are adding the mint leaves to give a good flavor to your dish.
Next add salt and pepper and sauté well. With this you can also add the fish that is already fried a little bit in ghee.
Then take a bowl and add just 3 tea spoons of all purpose flour and enough and lot amount of water to it. Then beat it such that there are no lumps resting in the maida liquid.
Now add this to the pan in which the White Curry with fish is being cooked. Now cook until this turns to a thick consistency.
After the maida liquid thickens with the fish and other ingredients add coconut milk and shut out the flame.
It is advisable not to cook for longer time after adding the coconut milk.
